The recipient of the 2022 Corobrik Student Architecture Awards was announced on May 16th, 2023. The distinguished national winner for 2022 was Luzuko Funda from Nelson Mandela University. Funda's exceptional talent and innovative approach earned him the esteemed title and a substantial cash prize of R70,000.

Additionally, Ané Meyer from the University of the Free State received a Special Commendation for her outstanding project. Meyer was awarded a prize of R20,000 in recognition of her remarkable work.
